Resources

These are some of my favorite resources so far. I'm sure this list will grow and change over time. Feel free to share some of your favorite resources here, too!

End-of-Life Planning

This is one of the very best comprehensive websites I've found so far. The resources are extensive and easy to navigate. "CaringInfo, a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, provides free resources to help people make decisions about end-of-life care and services before a crisis."

Cake
"Make your ending meaningful and easier on loved ones. Explore, document and share all your health, legal, funeral and legacy decisions in an end-of-life plan. Make it easier for family in the future."

Know Your Rights

An excellent resource listed by State to learn your legal rights and governing laws.

Home Funerals and Natural/Green Burials

National Home Funeral Alliance
This site includes emergency contact information and resources for every state in the U.S. "The mission of the NHFA is to educate and empower families and communities to care for their own dead."

Green Burial Council
"Our mission is to inspire and advocate for environmentally sustainable, natural death care through education and certification. Our vision is to ensure universal access to information and environmentally sustainable death care."
